Construction Project of the Tomb of King Pakubuwono XIII
The tomb of PB XIII is located at Pajimatan Imogiri, Bantul, Yogyakarta, in accordance with the tradition of the Kasunanan Surakarta Palace. He was buried in the same kedaton as his father, PB XII, as his own kedaton had not yet been completed at the time.
This burial site is within the royal cemetery complex of the Kings of Kasunanan Surakarta, situated in the western section of the Imogiri burial complex.

Information regarding the existence of a tomb associated with the story of the traces of the “Lost Palace,” namely the Pleret Palace—**a once-magnificent palace that disappeared and was physically destroyed, along with its authority and grandeur, due to various intrigues and political maneuvers that occurred during the final period of the Islamic Mataram Kingdom’s existence.
