Disaster management is the process of preparing for, responding to, and recovering from natural or man-made disasters. We will carry out an integrated natural disaster rehabilitation program between us and the government. For example, we will carry out an earthquake rehabilitation program in Cianjur, West Java by building 165 earthquake-resistant housing complexes equipped with public facilities, 25 km of village roads, places of worship, schools, markets, all of which use earthquake-resistant buildings.
Rapid Response Action is an action taken to deal with natural disasters quickly and efficiently. One way to carry out rapid response action is to use a helicopter. We will provide 2 transport helicopters and 2 medical helicopters. We will cooperate with the local authorities and the air force for the handling of helicopters and work with the nearest hospital for handling emergency victims.
a) Restoring essential services such as electricity, water, and healthcare. We will cooperate with the local government and the central government to rebuild the electricity and water networks damaged by the disaster. For example, we plan to build a clean water pipe network complete with household waste treatment in the disaster areas of Palu, Aceh, Cianjur, Ambon and NTB.
b) Repairing damaged infrastructure and homes. Our plan for this section is providing assistance in the form of cash, building materials, labor, and helping to find new, safer residential land for residents affected by the disaster. We plan to provide assistance to a total of 10,000 livable houses for victims of natural disasters which will be distributed to several points such as Aceh, Palu, Cianjur, NTB and other areas in need.
Promoting long-term resilience and preparedness against future disasters.
Promoting long-term resilience and preparedness against future disasters is a crucial aspect in ensuring the safety and well-being of communities. We will cooperate with academia, government, police, army to carry out mitigation and further research to prevent disasters from happening in the future. We will prepare several supporting equipment such as a land slope gauge, a water level gauge, and other tools needed.
